I must say that those folks that do that gymnastic stuff are amazing. I cant even stand on my hands and these people do all kinds of crazy stuff and it looks like they dont even strain to do it. I dont see how you can swing around and let go of a bar and find it after doing summersaults in mid air.

If they threw me over the mat I couldnt land on my feet! The Americans winning silver is a remarkable achievement given they had not won a medal in a fully attended olympics since 1932. You gotta give them credit cause this is the only time in the spotlight for them. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Chaser... I'm pretty sure that we've mentioned this before but Drau and I were both competative Gymnasts for many years.

If you think it's cool to watch.... you wouldn't believe the super-man rush when you're actually flying through the air.

It's THAT feeling that makes you work 4 to 6 hours a day, 6 days a week to be able to do it. It's that rush of adrenaline and that moment that stands still in time that makes you shrug your shoulders as joints, cartilage, and muscles ache and burn.

Yeah, I permanently damaged my knees and spine.... yeah I probably should have been an inch taller before all the compression to my legs and spine.... but for those few moments... I could actually fly. [img]smile.gif[/img]
